June 3, 2011 New Drawings
These are new drawings from 2011 that are heavily influenced by Art Deco architecture and design. Each piece was composed attempting to achieve separate formal goals, however the technique gives both works a sense of unity. I really enjoyed using the paper as a surface and I intend to start using paper, in this way and in others, in more of my work.
As a side note I am currently working on a large 4′ x 4′ drawing using this technique. I will post progress pictures soon.

May 18, 2011 Final pieces for Lyme Exhibition
Here are the final pieces that I had in the Senior Studio Exhibition:
Click each image to enlarge it. They’re all pretty good resolution. They’re all from the work I produced this year at Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts and represent the tip of the iceberg to an idea I haven’t fully expressed yet. I might post my artist statement for this series if people want to check it out.
